FAQ

We thought we would take the opportunity to answer some of the most frequently asked questions here:

Do you have availability for a certain date?

We ask for all customers to make a booking via their account. We have a certain amount of spaces for different breeds and specifications, so please click ‘add to waiting list’ if it offers that option. We go through this list every day to make any manual changes we need to in order to make bookings, if you’ve not heard back in 48 hours please feel free to ring and we will double check for you. We also keep the Facebook page updated regularly with our availability.

How much do you charge?

This information is available on the boarding page on this website and also on your online booking account.

I feed a raw diet, can you accommodate that?

Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to accommodate dogs fed on a raw diet, however there are many dry and wet alternatives out there, we do ask you wean your dogs onto these a week before their stay here with us

Can we come and look around?

We stopped this during the pandemic and found that our existing guests staying are much happier and settled whilst only being subject to our faces rather than strangers appearing, imagine trying to have an afternoon snooze and a strangers face appearing to stare at you! It also disrupts our routine with them and puts us all out of sync. There is lots of photos of our facilities on the boarding page to have a look through, and also on our Facebook page.

Can you accomodate my dogs medical needs?

The simple version of this is - if it is medication taken orally, yes we do, if it is anything else, we generally do not. However do feel free to give us a call to discuss any individual issues.

How many kennels do you have?

We are licensed for 50 dogs, we have 18 on the ‘big dog side’ and 10 on the ‘little dog side’ and 6 police dog kennels.

Can my dogs share a kennel?

Yes, as long as they live together at home and get along well there, and don’t argue with each other over food or when the doorbell goes!

Does my dog need the kennel cough vaccination?

We do not insist on the KC vaccination, we do recommend it and we do insist on a 2 week gap between them having the vaccine and then boarding with us.

Are you secure?

Yes, our premises was built to be secure, with at least 2 gates/doors between the dogs and the outside world, plus we have CCTV, Oscar the guard dog, and we live on site 24/7.

Anything else we need to add to this list? Please give us a call and let us know!
